1. Refreshing your home
i. Start with the outside with a wreath on the door. If the door is dark get a wreath with silver or gold as the dominant colour, it should stand out.
ii. Pick a feature wall or entrance hallway to vow your guests
iii. Change a curtain or just add to the existing curtains

i. Dress up the stairs in the same décor colours as the rest of the living space.

i. Decide if its going to be sit down or buffet
ii. Placing a cushion on each chair can perk up dining chairs for a sit down dinner, or with a ribbon tied on the back.
8. Finalizing the guest list
i. People you can manage easily, get their RSVPs
9. Personalizing items
i. Cocktail napkins can be personalized with initials of your guests or a note for each guest, use iron on stickers as a DIY project.
10. Kitchen
i. Don’t forget the kitchen that is the hub of the activity.
ii. Dress up any visible jars and bottles on the counter.
iii. Dress up the chandelier.
